The Red Fort of Agra was the first modern quilt I ever designed. For this reason it holds a special place in my heart. The Red Fort of Agra can be tapered down to a simplistic look, or it can easily have a fun and crazy look. It all just depends on what look you want and what fabrics you love. I was inspired by this magical place to create a quilt pattern representing not only Little Three Creeks, but also Central Oregon. The three mountains in the quilt represent the Three Sisters Mountains which are some of the most striking mountains in Oregon. In the middle of the quilt you can see the three creeks which obviously represents our favorite hike. And lastly the mountains are shadowed on each end just as you would see them reflected off a lake.
Lodhi garden was our sanctuary and a place for my kids to run and play. They would explore ancient tombs, run through sprinklers, bird watch, chase chipmunks, climb trees...
