It's always inspiring to see other people's quilts and quilt ideas. So I thought I would give you some more ideas of colors and fabrics for the Cicada Market Quilt Pattern.
This pattern uses 5 different accent fabrics plus a background fabric to create a star lovers dream quilt. If you don't mind trimming half square triangles then you will love this quilt. If you do mind trimming them, then you will probably get over it because the end result is worth it.

The Cicada Market Quilt includes two different blocks and each block is on a different scale. This gives adds interest to the quilt and along with a more unique look.

I used Kona fabric swatch samples for the above mockup. But I forgot to keep track of the colors. But you get the idea... choose some poppin', bright yellows, pinks and reds or oranges and you have this version covered. :)
Most of all, have fun figuring out what feel you want in your quilt and use what you like. I don't love green, like emerald green. So I don't use many grass or dark greens in my quilts.
I hope you like the ideas I gave above. Each one has a bit of a different flavor to give you ideas of possibilities.
